JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides medical care to patients under the direction of a supervising physician.

  • Examines, evaluates, and treats patients with medical conditions, illnesses or injuries.

  • Advises patients on the maintenance of good health.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program.

  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia.

This position serves The Hope Clinic in Decatur.

Additonal Details

  • Assess research subjects under the direction of a supervising physician.

  • Examines, evaluates research subjects with cardiopulmonary presentation for RSV and pneumococcal epidemiologic studies, use of procalcitonin as a diagnostic marker in patients with lower respiratory tract infections and assess , enroll, treat and follow up patients with complicated urinary tract infections and ICU patients colonized with pseudomonas, and provide clinical expertise for challenge and vaccine studies .

  • Willing to work in different settings inpatient outpatient and research clinic.

  • Will be working at VA, EUH, EUHM and Grady
