The Emory Voice Center of Emory University’s Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery seeks a full-time, experienced voice pathologist to serve as Director of Speech-Language Pathology. The Emory Voice Center is a multidisciplinary organization staffed by specialists in Laryngology and Speech-Language Pathology. Founded in 2003, Emory Voice Center has an international reputation for the diagnosis and treatment of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. The highly motivated team has long been actively involved in academic, research, and professional development at the national and international levels. Together with the Director of the Emory Voice Center, the successful candidate will provide strong, collaborative leadership for the Speech-Language Pathology team, and will help guide the organization’s clinical, research, and program development efforts.
The position provides an academic appointment in the Department of Otolaryngology at a level commensurate with credentials and experience. The University provides a competitive 12-month salary with excellent benefits.
Candidates must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence, a Ph.D. or other terminal degree, and be eligible for licensure in the state of Georgia. The successful candidate will have a strong research and publication history, experience in mentorship for clinical research, a national reputation among colleagues within the community of voice professionals, and an interest in combining a leadership role with clinical practice.
